For the wedding, Beach Chic but more importantly, what you feel comfortable in. The ceremony will be on the beach so you can be barefoot or in sandals or flat shoes for that and change shoes for the reception if you prefer.

Yes - the Chesapeake will be stocked with food and drinks. This is not a dry wedding. Lunch will be provided (bbq) for Friday’s pool party. Guests arriving early before the ceremony may have drinks at the Chesapeake when you arrive.

No. We have plenty of stuff and we just appreciate your presence with us on the outer banks for the wedding. There will be a box to collect cards, cash or checks if you want to gift us a little something to help with buying our first home or going on a honeymoon but it is not expected. We are just grateful you are joining us on our special day.

Yes! The shuttle will run all night during the wedding for guests with little kids who have an early bed time or if you want to head back to your hotel so you will always have a ride ready for your transportation to and from the venue.

We ask that guests who are not part of the bridal party or immediate family staying at the Chesapeake please take take the shuttle from Corolla at one of the designated pick up spots and not drive to the venue. We need spaces for the vendors to park at the Chesapeake.

Yes! The venue has ramps to enter the Chesapeake and elevators so those who have limited mobility will not need to worry about stairs.
