• Twiddy 4x4 Beach House Rentals: Search homes near the venue in 4X4 or Corolla for the week of May 30 but call Twiddy directly to book your preferred dates (866-457-1190), let them know you are in town for ‘Eileen and Donnie’s Wedding at The Chesapeake’ and they can help you find near by homes, in your budget, that may not require a full week rental. The website only shows weekly bookings, but on the phone they are more flexible with options nearby for our wedding party guests.

• If looking for rental properties on Airbnb, VRBO, or other local OBX vacation rental services - we recommend looking for houses that are walking distance to the above Corolla hotels for transportation pickups or as close to the venue as possible. Transportation to the Celebrations: We’ve got you covered!

• Transportation to the venue (The Chesapeake) from Corolla and back will be provided for all guests free of charge. We have hired a private shuttle service that will pick guests up at the Corolla Hotels listed above —Wild Horse Inn, Corolla Village Inn, The Inn at Corolla Light — that specializes in driving large parties onto the 4x4 beach to The Chesapeake. We have limited parking at the venue for vendors & guests, so if you are staying in Corolla please use the shuttle.

• We have a parking lot available next to the Corolla Village Inn for our guests who are not staying in town to access the shuttle. Please let us know if you need a parking space for the weekend, and we will reserve it for you in advance (email / text Eileen or Donnie).

• The shuttle will make continuous round trips from Corolla to The Chesapeake and back (12 minutes each way) on Friday May 29 for the Day Time Beach Welcome Party (12:00-5:30 pm) and on Saturday May 30 for the Wedding Ceremony & Reception (4:45 pm-11:00 pm). This transportation service will allow our guests to easily leave the wedding venue to return to their accommodations in Corolla, or get to The Chesapeake to enjoy the festivities, safely and conveniently — with low stress flexibility on travel timing to support whatever works best for you, your guests or your family.
